Airborne BMX is a ! freestyle BMX game that emphasizes technical jumps, inventive trick combos and the rush of finishing a hard run. Handmade dirt tracks guide motorcyclists through stunning surroundings of ramps, gaps and changing possibilities to score. Each effort inspires you to go deeper, link another trick and find out what your riding talents can do.
The aim is not just to get to the end of a course. In Airborne BMX your greatest moments are about managing the bike in the air, landing clean and transferring that momentum into the next jump. If you pace your run, you can turn ordinary airtime into a high-scoring combo.
CREATE A COMBO ON EACH TRAIL
Every level drops your rider on a trail peppered with challenging jumps and possibilities for stunts. Utilize the speed of the bike to jump off ramps then perform flips, spins, manuals, and freestyle moves before landing safely. If you land cleanly you keep the combo alive and you can keep building toward a greater score.
Keep the momentum going. Back to back jumps can provide more scoring potential but bad timing might break the rhythm of a ride. Crashes create funny ragdoll moments but also swiftly put you back on the track to try the route again. A quick restart makes redoing a level feel natural when a better line or trick sequence is within reach.
Control your bike as you like
Airborne BMX puts you in charge of basic and advanced freestyle moves:
- ← / → : Front flip / Back flip
- Left Spin / Right Spin Up Arrow / Down Arrow
- Spacebar: Press and hold to pump, launch, or fast land
- WASD: Easy techniques like Table, Barspin, Turndown and Tailwhip
- Shift + WASD: Pro tricks
Knowing when to employ each move allows for more diversified combos. Jumps provide a chance to experiment, but don't forget the landing is as important as the trick itself.
MEDALS, CHALLENGES, AND NEW RIDING OBJECTIVES
Completing a ride unlocks a medal and harder levels give you harder layouts and more opportunity to maintain a combo longer. Airborne BMX is 60 hand-crafted BMX courses in a variety of locales, each trail has its own rhythm and potential for stunts.
Over 40 freestyle maneuvers to combine and over 200 challenge objectives that give new goals to every ride. And worth going back to earlier courses too - get your approach down, nail trick tasks, aim for better Platinum medal times.
You may also unlock 15 riders and 15 unique BMX bikes in the game. Head into the next course and use the bike editor to build your own riding style.
